How?
Worship.
Worship is God’s invitation to intimate encounter with His presence.
In our encounter with God, we discover our true identity and find the desire to pursue His purpose for our lives instead of our own.
Tragedy, loss, and trauma can derail us. Grief can cripple. Overcoming life’s challenges can be daunting.
The journey is difficult, but it is not impossible.
You are not alone.
You can repair the ruins of your past, recover from grief, loss, and trauma, and root yourself in hope for generations to come.
And it all starts with worship.
From the beginning, God has been seeking worshipers who would build and establish a house fit for Him to dwell in.
Under the New Covenant, we are now the temple of the Holy Spirit, being built up together into a spiritual house well suited for worship.
Join me as we build a house of worship and a place of rest for the Lord.

If you want to build your “house of worship” and make room for Jesus, you are going to have to deal with your past. For those of us who have experienced a great deal of trauma, this can be a process. Below is a starting point for that process. It’s often messy, definitely not simple, and I’ve formulated my thoughts in hindsight, so I don’t have all the answers. But I want to give you what I do have, help you encounter the Healer, and help you build your house on the right foundation.
At some point, we all have experiences that significantly impact the way we view life and the world around us. Unfortunately, those events are often tragic or traumatic. The catalyst for my desire to write and share hope was the tragic death of my father and the process of dealing with the grief that followed. Recovering can take years and is different for everyone, but there is hope to overcome your trauma and to live in abundance and freedom again.
Hopelessness is a lie. It is possible to overcome your fear, anxiety, and depression after traumatic loss. It’s hard work, but the fight for your life is worth it. You can move forward from the hard places and lead yourself into a brighter future.
Overcoming is possible through a personal relationship with God as you discover His goodness, embrace your true identity, and pursue your God-given purpose. It all starts with encountering the one true God who created you and called you to Himself before you were born.
